Designed by Thomas Pesendorfer, it commemorates the famous Vienna Philharmonics Orchestra, it features a French horn, the Great Organ of the Golden Hall, violins, a cello, an oboe and a harp. The Silver Philharmonic is a legal tender coin with its face value of 1.5 Euro minted by the Austrian Mint.
